ISHWAR PURI: “There is a philosopher’s stone, they say, that turns lead into gold. Masters are not like that. They are a philosopher’s stone, which when they touch you, they make you into a philosopher’s stone. Perfect living masters do not come to improve your life or to make you better than you are. They come to make you like themselves. Exactly. Identical with them. And that’s why at the end you discover there was no difference between our true self and the master. You discover, to your great joy and to your great enlightenment, that when you see a perfect living master in human form, it is your own highest self being represented in a human form in this place. It is not somebody else. Your own self is being represented by a human being at this level who looks like a master, functions like a master. Some of them don’t even look like a master.”
Me: Ishwar Puri has cast a glow over every single facet of my life. His perfect love lightens my heart in a way that makes everything seem new and perfect, bringing such joy I had never thought possible. If that’s not alchemy, I don’t know what it is.
Ishwar’s quote is an excerpt from “Seeking is the Secret”
Ishwar Puri places emphasis on the importance of being a Seeker. Seek within yourself, not outside.
